30pm This position is responsible for receiving and inspecting returned product as directed by Sales and Customer Solutions associates.
They are able to diagnose, repair, and repackage returned or damaged products.
Through their ability to read product drawings, engineering masters and work instructions they determine the disposition of the returned product.
The Product Repair Specialist may be able to weld, grind and paint steel components, ensuring that repaired product meets the relative quality standards.
Enter data into designated database to move stock from location to location as per organizational policies.
Report requirements needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
Maintain equipment and work area using 5S strategies.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Receiving and inspecting returned product as directed by Sales and Customer Solutions associates.
Diagnose, repair, and repackage returned or damaged products.
Determine the disposition of returned product through their ability to read product drawings, engineering masers and work instructions.
Able to weld, grind and paint steel components, ensuring that repaired product meets the relative quality standards.
Enter data into relevant databases to transfer stock between locations as per organizational policies.
Assist in alternate areas of the business, as required.
Attend meetings as required.
Maintain equipment and work area using 5S strategies.
Education and
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient with managing software solutions, MS Office suite.
Grinding, painting, mechanical aptitude required.
Welding experience preferred.
Managing multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
